ROCKDALE ISD ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR'S TAX RATE.
Date: September 21, 2026
On this date, we, the Board of Trustees of the Rockdale Independent School District, hereby levy or set the tax rate of $100 valuation for the District for the tax year 2026 at a total tax rate of $1.0691 to be assessed and collected by the duly specified assessor and collector as follows:
$0.7072 for the purpose of maintenance and operation; and
$0.3619 for the purpose of payment of principal and interest on debt
THIS TAX RATE WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR’S TAX RATE.
THIS RESOLUTION WAS APPROVED BY 60% OR MORE OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF ROCKDALE INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT.
Adopted this 21st day of September, 2026, by the Board of Trustees.
