💻 Happy IT Professionals Day!

Today, we’re celebrating our future IT professionals! Through their CTE pathway, these students are building real-world skills to prepare for careers in the IT field.

For the past two and a half weeks, they’ve been getting hands-on experience disassembling computers for recycling. Now, they’re putting their troubleshooting skills to the test!

We can’t wait to see where these future tech pros go! 💻

Teaming Up to Fight Childhood Cancer is a group that was created by two Rockdale moms whose children were battling cancer. Teaming Up raises money for childhood cancer research solely by selling shirts each year. To date, they have donated over $325,000 directly to research.

Join us on Friday, September 25 for our Gold Out Game vs. Troy. Fill the stands with gold and show your support!

Shirt sales will run from Tuesday, September 1- Monday, September 21.
Shirts are $10 and order forms can be turned in at any campus office.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for tonight’s RJH Open House! 💙 It was wonderful welcoming our families and showcasing all the exciting things happening at Rockdale Junior High this year. 🐯✨

A huge shoutout to Integrity Roofing & Construction and to 360 Pro Wrestling for inspiring our students today. They reminded us that saying NO to bullying starts with choosing to be a friend to everyone. 🤝💙

Join us at the 2026 Battle of the Bell on Friday, October 9th, as we celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the 1976 Football and 1977 Track State Championship teams, alongside the 10th Anniversary of the 2016 Track State Championship team.

Recognition will take place prior to kickoff at approximately 7:15 PM. If you are a member of one of these teams and plan to attend, please email hhamrick@rockdaleisd.net to confirm your attendance.
